The event will be enhanced by dance performances by étoiles Eleonora Abbagnato and Friedemann Vogel.

This movie is set on the Easter Island, where a group of children that must face the mean ruler of the island in a pallastrike match in an arena. Their objective is to free a group of kids that have been petrified during the years.

From the RAI “Arturo Toscanini” Auditorium in Turin, the RAI National Symphony Orchestra pays tribute to Igor Stravinsky, on the fiftieth anniversary of his death, with Pulcinella conducted by Ottavio Dantone, one of the foremost interpreters of early music, a harpsichordist and conductor, and a leading expert and scholar of Baroque performance practice. The vocal parts are performed by mezzo-soprano Paola Gardina, the young Australian tenor Alasdair Kent, and bass-baritone Paolo Bordogna. The evening concludes with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s famous Symphony No. 41 in C major, K. 551, known as “Jupiter.”
